About 2,000 South Koreans are stranded in Dubai due to Middle East travel disruptions, with the government working to bring them home, lawmaker Kim Young-bae said.

Around 2,000 South Koreans have been stranded in Dubai after air travel was disrupted amid an escalating conflict in the Middle East, a South Korean lawmaker said on Tuesday.
Kim Young-bae of the ruling Democratic Party said his party is coordinating with the foreign ministry to secure their return. Kim was speaking at a press briefing following consultations with ministry officials.
