Zendaya gets 10th wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York

A wax figure of Hollywood actor Zendaya went on display at Madame Tussauds New York on Wednesday (January 7), her 10th Madame Tussauds figure to date. 

    The latest waxwork is inspired by Zendaya's look at a "Dune: Part Two" fan event in Mexico City, on February 6, 2024. To promote her sci-fi epic, Zendaya wore a couture-style design with ostrich-effect leather detailing and a slit skirt. 

    The first wax figures in Zendaya's likeness were introduced in 2015 in Orlando and San Francisco. The latest one is a result a year-long process that involved 20 skilled artists. 

    Zendaya will appear in four movies in 2026: the A24 romantic drama "The Drama," Christopher Nolan's ancient Greek epic "The Odyssey," the superhero film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," and the "Dune" sequel "Dune: Part Three."
