Pokwang apologizes as she admits man in viral slapping incident is her brother

ANTIPOLO CITY- Comedian Pokwang has acknowledged that the person who slapped a man pushing a cart in a now viral video is her brother. 

On her Instagram page itspokwang27 on Tuesday, December 16, the actress and comedian, stated,"“Totoo po ‘yung tungkol sa nag-viral na video na isang lalaki na naka-Hilux na Toyota na puti—opo, kapatid ko po ‘yun.”  (It's true  that the driver on the viral video in a white Toyota Hilux is my brother.)

Pokwang also apologized saying, "Ako po ay humihingi ng dispensa do'n po sa kanyang nakaalitan at lalo na sa anak na babae." (I am asking for forgiveness to the man who had an altercation with my brother and to his daughter.)

In the video, a man can be seen cursing and then slapping another man  while his young daughter was crying in the background. The Land Transportation Office has suspended the license of Pokwang's brother for 90 days and has  issued him a show-cause order.
