Piolo Pascual, Darren Espanto, other celebs give 'PBB' housemate Shea a birthday surprise

Piolo Pascual and Darren Espanto were among the the first celebrity guests of "Pinoy Big Brother: Collab Edition 3.0" after surprising the housemates with a birthday celebration on Thursday's episode.

Kyle Echarri, Iñigo Pascual, River Joseph, and Emilio Daez gave the season's first birthday celebrant another unexpected treat by joining in on Shea Valerio's 20th birthday celebration.

Shea had already received a birthday surprise beforehand from her fellow housemates, who greeted her upon waking up and prepared a DIY cake for her. The celebration gave her tears of joy.

Among the visitors, Kyle, River, and Emilio were former PBB housemates, while Piolo, Darren, and Iñigo were former house guests.

As they introduced themselves, Darren jokingly called their group "Team Gen Zs plus one," referring to Piolo as the plus one being the oldest among them. Kuya then gave the house guests cupcakes and instructed them to surprise Shea.

Iñigo, River, and Emilio entered first as they sang "Happy Birthday" to Shea. The birthday girl warmly welcomed the three actors.

They also spent time interacting with the housemates and taking a quick tour of the house. A few minutes later, Piolo, Darren, and Kyle followed, making Shea even more excited.

Bela and Winwyn Marquez were elated upon seeing Piolo. Each actor then serenaded Shea, with Piolo even holding her hand. Piolo also gave her a special gift.

Aside from celebrity guests, Shea received another beautiful present: a letter from her younger sister. Shea became emotional as she opened the envelope in the girls' bedroom. She later shared its contents in the confession room.

Shea revealed that it was her first time celebrating her birthday away from her family. Despite being away from her loved ones, Shea said her fellow housemates made her feel at home as she thanked them for the birthday celebration.

"Gusto ko lang mag thank you kasi even though first birthday ko na hindi ko kasama yung family ko, first birthday ko naman na kasama yung bagong family ko. So, thank you for making my birthday very, very special," she said.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Collab Edition 3.0" premiered last Saturday which features 16 housemates from various backgrounds, including celebrities, content creators, and other notable personalities.
