LANY cancels 'Soft World' Davao stop due to safety concerns, production issues

LANY has cancelled its November 14 concert in Davao City due to safety concerns and production issues, Live Nation Philippines announced Wednesday.

The American pop-rock duo, known for songs such as “ILYSB,” "Super Far," and “Malibu Nights,” was scheduled to perform at the Crocodile Park Concert Grounds as part of its Philippine tour.

In its announcement, the concert organizer said, “We regret to inform you that LANY: soft world tour, scheduled for November 14, 2026, at Crocodile Park Concert Grounds in Davao, has been cancelled due to safety concerns and production issues.”

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding,” the organizer added.

Affected ticket holders may request a refund through the SM Tickets refund portal or email customercare@smtickets.com directly.

SM Tickets will give instructions and the requirements for processing refunds.

Davao ticket holders may also use their ticket credit for LANY’s November 7 show in Manila.

Meanwhile, LANY’s other Philippine shows will proceed as scheduled. The band is set to perform on November 6 and 12 at Seaside Cebu Arena in Cebu, as well as on November 7 and 8 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Fans holding tickets for the November 6 show may exchange them for the November 7 performance.

LANY last performed in the Philippines in October 2024 as part of its "A Beautiful Blur" World Tour, with a concert at the Philippine Arena on October 12, followed by shows in Cebu from October 13 to 15.

The band also held five sold-out shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in 2022 as part of its "A November to Remember" tour.
