King Charles celebrates US-UK 'cultural bond' at New York King's Trust Gala

Britain’s King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the King’s Trust Global Gala in New York on Wednesday (April 29).

The royal couple met celebrities including Anna Wintour, Donatella Versace and Lionel Richie.

In brief remarks, Charles praised the “cultural bond” between Britain and the U.S.

The gala was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the King's Trust, which was established by King Charles to help young people better their lives.

Musician Lionel Richie, a Trust global ambassador and group chairman, expressed the importance of preparing young people for their futures.
