Dwayne Johnson surprises daughter Tiana with KATSEYE-themed birthday party

Surprise! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is an EYEKON.

In a video shared by the “Jumanji” actor on April 20, shots of the KATSEYE-themed party showed "The Rock" singing "Happy Birthday" and holding a homemade cake. 

A banner with a photo of the girl group and "Happy Birthday!" hangs on a wall while he brings  the cake to his daughter Tiana who was celebrating her 8th birthday last April 17. Family and friends also sang amidst purple-themed decors like balloons, plates, napkins, and a glittery backdrop, all in keeping with the girl group’s aesthetic.

His caption says, “Happy Birthday Tia. 8 summers old and our anchor of pure love, joy, crazy humor and always down to put in the work, and step outta the box! We love U baby girl.” He also referenced the group’s latest single, adding, “Pinky’s Up.” 

He tagged KATSEYE’s official Instagram account and used the hashtag “#HomemadeCake4TheWin.” The group’s official page later commented, “cutes bday party ever. happy birthday Tia!!” while EYEKONS’ page also filled the comments with birthday greetings.

A second video gave a closer look at the homemade cake, decorated with a girl group’s birthday card, a glittery purple  “8” candle, and a sandwich-shaped topper. The sides of the cake were also decorated with the lettering of KATSEYE songs “PINKY UP” and “Gabriela.”

At the end of the video, Johnson also showed a behind-the-scenes moment where his older daughter Jasmine, 10, who helped design the cake. He closed the video by turning back to the camera and giving it a chef’s kiss.

Johnson, 57,  who shares Tiana and Jasmine with singer and music producer Lauren Hashian, also has an older daughter, Ava, 24, with ex-wife, film producer and businesswoman Dany Garcia.

He has often embraced his role as a girl dad, sharing family moments online, including a Valentine’s Day surprise where Tiana and Jasmine gave him flowers and heart balloons. Johnson hugged them in return.
