Candlelit concert brings festive cheer to Cape Town theatre

One student, attending her first small‑ensemble performance, described the setting as “stunning,” saying the candlelight and close‑up view of the musicians made the show feel personal and almost dreamlike.

The quartet says part of the appeal is the blend of timeless classical technique with songs people instantly recognise. The musicians fed off the crowd’s energy, noting the enthusiasm that met each new piece.
