New Year's Eve 2026 numerals were installed atop historic One Times Square on Friday (December 26).

"This year, they're actually gold," said Sherri White, an executive at Jamestown, a company that led the redevelopment of One Times Square. "All of the numerals were painted gold. They've always been black in the past. And we also have a new light puck on them. They were light bulbs since their 1907 first rise. They were always a light bulb. And now we're a light puck, so it can actually change color."

Each numeral is seven feet tall, and together they use a total of 594 new LED light pucks, according to organizers. They can match the choreography with the designs on the New Year’s Eve Ball.
