Fireworks lit up Huntington Beach on Saturday (July 4) night as thousands gathered to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The city’s annual “Fireworks Over the Ocean” show launched from Huntington Beach Pier at 9 p.m., lighting up the coastline above the Pacific.
Crowds lined the sand and pier to watch the display, part of nationwide commemorations ahead of the Fourth of July.
Huntington Beach has hosted the oceanfront fireworks show for years, drawing visitors from across Southern California.
