Nancy Norberte sought the assistance of Senator Raffy Tulfo in obtaining justice for the death of her brother, Fabio Norberte Jr., a "Move It" rider, who was robbed and killed this week in Caloocan City.

Fabio, 46, was killed in the early hours of July 14 in Barangay 20, Caloocan City after he was repeatedly stabbed in his right side with an ice pick by his passenger, who has been identified as 43-year-old Jeffrey Catacutan.

The incident, including the suspect drawing the weapon as he dismounted the motorcycle, was captured on CCTV footage, according to the Facebook page of the senator, "Raffy Tulfo in Action (RTIA).

During a video call interview with the senator, the victim's sister Nancy said Fabio’s wife had previously passed away.

The deceased couple left behind a three-year-old child, now being cared for by Nancy.

The senator reached out to Wayne Jacinto, the General Manager of Move It, to inquire about the company's assistance for the bereaved family.

Jacinto confirmed that Move It has an insurance policy of ₱500,000 for such situations.

The company will also provide an equivalent amount of ₱500,000 in immediate cash assistance to support the family while the insurance claim is being processed.

According to Nancy, while their primary focus remains securing justice, the financial assistance will be of tremendous help in caring for her brother's orphaned child.

Meanwhile, according to the RTIA Facebook post, Caloocan City Police Station chief PCOL Joey Goforth said the suspect, Catacutan, is currently in the custody of the Malabon City Police Station, where he underwent inquest proceedings for robbery-holdup.

The Caloocan police have conducted inquest proceedings against him for robbery with homicide and car theft.

In a statement, Philippine National Police Chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. assured that the suspects in recent motorcycle-riding incidents have been arrested.

"As the cases move through the justice system, we remain committed to ensuring that all those responsible are held accountable in accordance with the law," he added. "We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and immediately report suspicious persons or activities through the Unified 911 emergency hotline or to the nearest police station," he advised.
