PRC: PH has one new vet; only one out of 7 passes veterinarian licensure exam

The Philippines has one new vet.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said only one out of seven examinees passed the May 2026 Veterinarians Special Professional Licensure Examination.
According to the PRC, only Eloisa Joy Mendoza Erive of the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation passed the exam.
The exam was administered in Hong Kong and Singapore by the Board of Veterinary Medicine, led by the following officers:
Dr. Agnes Teodora A. Baylon, Chairperson;
Dr. Tomas M. Acorda, Member, and
Dr. Claro N. Mingala, Member.
The PRC said the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online via www.prc.gov.ph.
PRC requires all successful board examinees to register personally and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. They must bring:
a sreenshot of system-generated Registration Form, and
a valid government-issued ID.
