Most of Luzon and Western Visayas will experience heavy rainfall caused by the prevailing southwest monsoon or habagat, the weather bureau said on Monday.
Monsoon rains will drench Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan.
Occasional rains will be experienced across Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro.
Scattered rains and thunderstorms are forecast in Western Visayas, the rest of Cagayan Valley, the rest of Calabarzon, the rest of Mimaropa, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
Moderate to heavy rains in the aforementioned areas could result in flash floods or landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geohysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, strong winds and rough seas will prevail across the northern and western sections of Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be moderate to strong with moderate to rough coastal waters, PAGASA said.
