Eight of those hurt have been severely wounded and the others suffered minor injuries, the police department of Gelderland province said in a post on X.
The coach, which was carrying more than 50 people and was registered in Austria, according to a police spokesperson, crashed near the town of Wezep, some 100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around 4 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a collision with a delivery van, whose driver was among the injured.
