The Philippines' Ma. Katrina Llegado crowned Miss Supranational 2026

Ma. Katrina Llegado of the Philippines won back the Miss Supranational crown during the pageant’s 17th edition in Nowy Sącz, Poland on July 31.

The victory marked the country's second victory in the international pageant after Mutya Datul's triumph in 2013.

The 28-year-old model, entrepreneur, and military reservist bested 66 other contestants from around the world to inherit the crown from Miss Supranational 2025 Eduarda Braum of Brazil. Beyond the coveted crown, Llegado also took home a $50,000 cash prize, worth more than ₱3.05 million.

Llegado captivated the audience during the evening gown competition in a stunning Rian Fernandez creation featuring sheer long sleeves adorned with shimmering beadwork and intricate detailing. She said the gown was inspired by the beauty and hope that every sunrise brings.

During the final question-and-answer round, Llegado was asked, "Please tell us about the moment you stopped trying to become the woman the world expected, and started becoming the woman you're really meant to be."

She answered, "I always believe that we should never fit into a mold. We are perfectly imperfect. I am someone who struggles [with] perfection, but I am here today doing my best, and becoming my best version. And here in Miss Supranational, I know I belong. I know a place for me, and this is becoming Supra, above and beyond."

Following her victory, social media was flooded with congratulatory messages from Filipinos and pageant fans worldwide, who warmly welcomed Llegado as the new Miss Supranational. Former titleholders also joined the celebration, including Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera and Miss Supranational 2025 Eduarda Braum, both of whom shared heartfelt messages congratulating the newly crowned queen.

A day after her historic victory, Llegado admitted she was still processing the unforgettable moment, sharing a short message a day after the pageant: "One day later... Still taking it all in."

She also took time to show her support for fellow Filipino representative Felipe Marasigan, who finished as a Top 20 finalist at Mister Supranational 2026.

Llegado later appeared at the Grand Final of Mister Supranational 2026 wearing an elegant white gown and her winning crown. During the event, Pedro Cordero of Spain was crowned Mister Supranational 2026 at around 2:00 a.m. Philippine time (8:00 p.m. in Poland).

While winning Miss Supranational 2026 marks the biggest milestone of her pageant career so far, Llegado has long been a familiar face in the competition scene. She first placed in the Top 5 of Mutya ng Taguig 2018 before earning the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 title at Miss World Philippines. She later represented the Philippines at Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 in Bolivia, where she finished as Quinta Finalista (fifth runner-up).

In 2022, she placed second runner-up at Miss Universe Philippines before reaching the finals of Miss Universe Philippines 2025, where she earned the country's Miss Supranational 2026 title. Earlier this year, she crowned her successor as Miss Supranational Philippines, Allyson Hetland of Pampanga.

Rounding out the Miss Supranational 2026 Top 5 were first runner-up Eve Gilles of France, a semifinalist at the 74th Miss Universe pageant; second runner-up Lara Marina of Brazil; third runner-up Ndah Eno Gift of Nigeria; and fourth runner-up Karolina Gorylova of the Czech Republic.
