SuperManila Comic Con 2026 expands into three-day pop culture event

SuperManila Comic Con (SMCC), the country’s premier celebration of comics, toys, and popular culture, is returning this September with an expanded three-day event for fans. The fourth edition of the convention will take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at The Concourse and SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City.

Following the success of its previous editions, SMCC 2026 is expanding from a two-day event into a three-day celebration. Fans can have more time to meet and learn from creators and industry experts, explore exhibits, shop for collectibles, and enjoy interactive events dedicated to comics and geek culture.

The event will bring together Filipino talent, internationally recognized comic book artists, toy brands, exhibitors, collectors, and thousands of fans.

This year’s guest lineup features some of the biggest names in the comics industry. Among the featured Filipino creators is Ian Sta. Maria, a comic creator, illustrator, and LEGO Group Senior Concept Artist known for blending Philippine mythology with contemporary fantasy. He is the creator of the graphic novel “Salamangka” and co-creator of the comic series “Skyworld.”

The convention will also welcome acclaimed international artists, including Japanese “Marvel” artist Peach Momoko, whose distinctive Japanese-inspired artwork has earned her a global following, and Singaporean illustrator Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, whose work for DC, Marvel, Capcom, and other major pop culture franchises has made him a fan favorite worldwide.

Also appearing at SMCC 2026 are legendary Marvel artist Mike Zeck, whose iconic work on “Captain America,” “The Punisher,” and “Secret Wars” helped shape a generation of comics, and C.B. Cebulski, a veteran comic book editor and writer who continues to support and develop comic book talent across Asia.

The guest roster also includes Thomas Healy, Editor-in-Chief of “Spawn,” as well as Derrick Chew, Jeehyung Lee, Kendrick Lim, Eric Canete, Ejikure, David Tran, Danny Kim, Inpyo Jeon, Rudy Ao, and veteran DC Comics artist Greg LaRocque, known for his acclaimed work on “The Flash,” “Legion of Super-Heroes,” and other DC titles.

Beyond comics, fans can look forward to a wide showcase of premium collectibles and hobby brands, along with exhibits, featured pop culture collections, cosplay, interactive displays, community activities, and special experiences for fans of all ages.

Tickets are now available at SuperManila PH. A one-day pass costs ₱650 and allows entry on any single event day—Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. A three-day pass costs ₱3,000 and includes early access privileges to select merchant booths.
