Stray Kids’ Felix marked his 26th birthday with a 300 million won (more than ₱13 million) donation to four organizations supporting children in need and communities affected by disasters overseas.
According to AllKpop, Felix made the donations on September 15 to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, Books International and UNICEF Korea. The details were confirmed by Stray Kids’ agency, JYP Entertainment.
He gave 100 million won (more than ₱4.6 million) each to Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. The donation to Samsung Medical Center will help cover medical expenses for children and teenagers undergoing cancer treatment, while the contribution to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital will support pediatric patients from families facing financial difficulties.
Felix also gave 50 million won (almost ₱2.3 million) to Books International, with the funds going toward creating picture books in children’s native languages as part of the nonprofit’s cultural education and awareness efforts. Another 50 million won went to UNICEF Korea to support emergency relief efforts for communities affected by severe flooding in Nepal.
Felix said he hopes the donation can be “a small but warm source of strength” for the children and bring hope to their lives in the days ahead.
The donation adds to Felix’s ongoing support for children and families in need. According to The Korea Times, he donated in 2024 to UNICEF programs providing nutritious food, clean water and sanitation for children in Laos, as well as World Vision Korea’s Breakfast for Kids program for children who lack regular access to nutritious meals.
In previous years, Felix has also supported pediatric patients at Samsung Medical Center, young family caregivers through World Vision, and UNICEF programs benefiting children in Laos.
Felix has also joined his Stray Kids bandmates in supporting disaster relief efforts. Last year, the members donated to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to assist communities affected by wildfires in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang provinces.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are continuing their international activities, including appearances at major festivals and stops on their world tour. The group performed its second show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Tuesday as part of “Straycity,” the group-led festival project taking place across three South American locations.
