A new version of SB19's hit “GENTO”  with Japanese singer-actor Kento Nakajima has been released. The revamped track arrived Thursday night and is now available on streaming platforms, including YouTube and Spotify.

Kento's addition to the 2023 hit has excited SB19's A'TIN fandom. “Gento with Kento brings a whole new vibe and flavor,” one fan commented. “This song will always be iconic,” another wrote.

“Thank you for untangling cultural boundaries through music! Congrats and good luck to all! Keep on soaring high #SB19 and #KentoNakajima!” a fan added.

The release follows SB19 and Kento's memorable appearance at Summer Sonic 2026 in Tokyo on August 15. During the festival's Tokyo leg, Kento joined the group for their performance of “GENTO,” singing the Tagalog chorus, delivering a specially written Japanese verse, and performing the choreography alongside the members.

The collaboration also highlights Kento's Filipino roots. The Japanese artist previously confirmed that he is half-Filipino during an interaction with Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano at a fashion show in New York.

SB19's collaboration with Kento, 32, marks its second partnership with a Japanese act. Earlier this year, the group teamed up with Japanese boy group BE:FIRST for the song “Toyfriend,” which they also performed together.

Notably, the P-pop Kings have continued to strengthen their presence in Japan through various high-profile appearances and activities. They made a major television appearance on the program “DayDay.” and were featured on the back cover of anan magazine. Following their landmark Summer Sonic performance, the group also held a special thanksgiving fan meet titled “I WaS There” and opened a highly successful pop-up store in Shibuya.

Beyond Japan, SB19 has collaborated with international artists from Indonesia, South Korea, and the United States. These partnerships include “Ready,” their track with Filipino-American singer and rapper Apl.de.Ap.

Meanwhile, fans can also catch SB19 in “WAKAS AT SIMULA: The Trilogy Concert Finale,” which is being screened in cinemas across the Philippines.
