Ruffa Gutierrez pens inspiring message to daughters Lorin and Venice

Ruffa Gutierrez reminded her daughters, Lorin and Venice Bektas, to always know their worth in a heartfelt message about strength, self-worth, and starting over.

The actress recently took to social media to reflect on the woman she has become after navigating difficult seasons in her life.

“The woman I’ve become was shaped by every season that tried to break me and every time I chose to rise,” Ruffa wrote.

The 52-year-old  then shared the advice she hopes her daughters will carry with them as they grow older. “I want my daughters to grow up knowing that their worth will never be determined by who stays, who leaves, or what life throws their way,” she said.

Ruffa encouraged them to be kind, strong, and ambitious, to know their value, and to never be afraid to begin again. “We come from strong women, and I hope that strength continues through them,” she added.

Addressing her daughters directly, Ruffa wrote, “For Lorin Gutierrez Bektas and Venice Bektas, may you always know who you are and never settle for less than you deserve.”

The message struck a chord with her followers, including fellow mothers, who praised Ruffa for sharing an empowering reminder about choosing happiness and knowing one’s worth. Fans also complimented the actress on her look, particularly the blue suit she wore in the post.

Ruffa's former husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas is the father of Lorin Gabriella, 23, and Venice, 21.

Although Ruffa and Yilmaz divorced more than a decade ago, they have remained on good terms and continue to have a positive co-parenting relationship.

Their bond as co-parents was highlighted following Lorin’s college graduation, when Yilmaz publicly expressed his gratitude to Ruffa for raising their daughter with love, devotion, and sacrifice.

Ruffa later responded, thanking Yilmaz for recognizing the years she devoted to raising their daughters. She said Lorin and Venice will always be their greatest blessings and reflected on how she chose love for their children despite everything life had brought them.

She also thanked Yilmaz for the kindness, sincerity, and respect he showed her through her journey as a mother.
