Rico Blanco enters ‘leading man era’ with Sue Ramirez in Project B

Regal Entertainment recently confirmed that multi-talented artist Rico Blanco will be taking on his first leading man role, starring alongside Sue Ramirez for the upcoming romantic comedy film, "Project B." 

The studio officially introduced the pair as the lead stars on social media, noting their strong chemistry. "Project B" (also referred to as #ProjectBaby) is scheduled to be released in cinemas soon.

The project has already generated significant online interest after both actors shared photos together on social media.

Blanco kept it simple, posting a black-and-white seaside photo along with a picture of them and the caption “B.” Ramirez, meanwhile, shared photos of them riding a golf cart.

Last Friday, April 10, the production company released further details, including the official synopsis and additional cast members. 

They described the film as a unique blend of modern relationship themes, career ambitions, and family dynamics, presented with romance, humor, and heart.

Ramirez plays Sandy, a woman searching for her ideal “baby daddy,” while Blanco takes on the role of Migo.

Directed by Eric Quizon, the movie also features Yasser Marta, Matt Lozano, Arra San Agustin, Chalize Ruth, Than Perez, Kimson Tan, and Alice Dixson.

Blanco has appeared in several projects, primarily in supporting roles, including his most recent performance in the 2025 period crime-thriller, Manila’s Finest.
