For actress and beauty queen Reign Parani, a key message of the youth drama “Miss Behave” is understanding first what people are going through before making judgments, especially in a world where information can spread quickly.
The “PBB” alum, who plays Isobel, said the story goes beyond the usual high school drama by tackling difficult conversations that many young people often avoid. “It’s also about female rage, revenge, and women empowerment,” Reign shared.
She hopes viewers become more mindful about judging others based only on what they see online. "Hindi natin alam kung anong pinagdadaanan ng mga tao," she said.
"Sana mas maging kinder at mas maging maunawain sila sa mga tao. A little kindness goes a long way," she added.
The youth dark comedy follows five high school girls whose private photos are leaked online and circulated around their campus. As they deal with the consequences, the series explores the emotional impact of public shame, online judgment, abuse, and the struggle to seek justice.
Each character in “Miss Behave” reflects different experiences and challenges faced by teenagers today. Reign’s character, Isobel, is outspoken and strong-willed, but also has a vulnerable side beneath her tough personality.
The series also includes Alex Ilacad, Xyriel Manabat, Andi Abaya, and Rans Rifol in the main cast, with Raven Rigor, Zach Castañeda, LA Santos, Zach Guerrero, Akira Morishita, and JC Alcantara among the supporting cast.
For Reign, portraying the aftermath of the leaked images was one of the most challenging parts. The cast had to portray the fear, anger, and pressure experienced by people whose privacy have been violated.
Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, “Miss Behave” premiered on June 3, with its pilot episode also released on iWant’s official YouTube channel.
With only Episodes 9 and 10 remaining, “Miss Behave” streams every Wednesday at 8:00 pm on iWant.
