Miss World Philippines 2026 Asia Rose Simpson secured a Top 3 spot in the Miss World Talent competition, adding another major achievement to her “Miss World” journey just days before the pageant’s grand finale in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Simpson was among the 23 delegates chosen as finalists from more than 100 contestants and ultimately placed third with an original dance performance that showcased her skills in both dance and gymnastics.

Miss World England Grace Richardson won the competition with her singing performance of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow,” while Miss World Guadeloupe Annaelle Ibo placed second with her rendition of “La Vie en Rose.”

For her entry, the teen beauty queen presented an original piece called “Succor,” which focused on hope and healing, particularly for those dealing with mental health struggles. Through her choreography, Simpson hoped to shed light on “the hope and healing we can have battling mental health.”

The result meant even more to Simpson, who considers the talent fast-track one of her favorite parts of the competition. In a post-performance interview she shared on social media, Simpson said she was surprised and grateful to make it into the Top 3.

“I honestly didn’t know whether I was gonna make it in the Top 5 or Top 3. It was such an incredible honor. I was so shocked. I’m so happy and honored that I got to represent the God-given gifts that were given to me. I got to represent my country and my family,” she said.

“This is one of my favorite fast-tracks and so placing Top 3 is such a dream come true. I hope you were touched by the message,” Simpson added.

She wore a form-fitting cobalt blue-and-gold cut-out bodysuit designed by her sister.

Simpson’s experience in dance and performance goes back to childhood. In 2016, she joined “Pilipinas Got Talent” as part of an acrobatics act with her sister and their Filipino father. She began learning dance at an early age under her father’s guidance.

Her Top 3 finish adds to a strong showing at Miss World 2026. She initially placed among the Top 5 in the Asia and Oceania group before winning the Asia & Oceania Head-to-Head Challenge, which earned her a direct spot in the Top 40.

The Miss World 2026 competition will culminate in a coronation show on September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, where Simpson and 110 other delegates will compete to succeed reigning queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand.

The ceremony will be streamed on the pageant’s official YouTube channel.

Simpson is representing the Philippines at Miss World 2026 and is vying for the country’s second Miss World crown, following Megan Young’s historic victory in 2013.
