People offer flowers for music mogul Clive Davis at Hollywood Walk of Fame

Flowers were laid on the Hollywood Walk of Fame star for music mogul Clive Davis on Tuesday (June 23) following his family's announcement that he had died at the age of 94 on Monday (June 22).

Davis fostered the careers of Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen and other stars.

Davis, who was known as "the man with the golden ear" for his ability to identify potential hit songs, died at his home in Manhattan, the New York Times said, having recently been hospitalized with respiratory problems.

Davis won four Grammys for producing works by Kelly Clarkson, Carlos Santana and Jennifer Hudson, and a fifth for his contributions to music.
