'Pagdating ng Panahon' turns 25: Ice Seguerra heads to Australia for milestone tour

Ice Seguerra is celebrating 25 years of his iconic hit “Pagdating ng Panahon” with a world tour that will have three stops in Australia, offering Filipino fans abroad a chance to exprience this milestone concert.

An earlier announcement posted on social media confirmed stops in Sydney and Canberra. The Sydney show is scheduled for August 29 at Norwest Hub, followed by Canberra on August 30 at Fitzroy Pavilion.

Last Thursday, June 11, a follow-up post added a new city to the lineup: Adelaide. The concert is set for September 5 at Hewiston Theatre at Starplex. “Sa mga kababayan natin sa Australia, we have more exciting news 'coz we're also going to Adelaide para sa 25th Anniversary World Tour ng Pagdating ng Panahon! Kitakits tayo!”

Aside from the tour, Ice is also set to release his “Tamang Panahon” EP on June 26. This follows the April release of a new version of “Pagdating ng Panahon (25 Years Later).” Originally released in 2001, the track became a major hit and remains a beloved  Filipino ballad known for its emotional lyrics and simple, heartfelt delivery.

Ice Seguerra, whose former name was Cariza Yamson Seguerra, started out as a child star after being discovered in Eat Bulaga's “Little Miss Philippines” contest. 

He later pursued a career in music and broke into the mainstream in 2001, along with other hit songs such as “Ano’ng Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa” and “Para Lang Sa’yo.” He continues to remain active in the entertainment industry as a singer-songwriter and director.
