MOMOLAND to celebrate 10th anniversary with Manila fan concert

MOMOLAND, the K-Pop group behind the viral hits “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM,” are returning to Manila. The group will celebrate their 10th anniversary with Filipino Merries  at the “Very Merry Party in Manila” FanCon on August 8.

Three Angles Production and MOMOLAND announced the FanCon through social media posts on Sunday, July 5. Details about the venue, ticket prices, and other event information are expected to be released soon.

MOMOLAND became a household name among Filipino K-pop fans after their 2018 hit song “Bboom Bboom” became a viral sensation in the Philippines.

The group first visited the country in 2018 for an exclusive event and later appeared in ABS-CBN’s Christmas special in December 2019.

Their most recent visit to Manila was in 2022, when they performed at “Ripples For Hope 2022: A K-pop Friendship Day & Night” held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, alongside Korean pop duo AKMU and girl group Everglow.

Formed through the 2016 reality show ‘Finding Momoland,’ the group debuted in 2016 and became known for its nine-member lineup.”

Taeha and Yeonwoo left MOMOLAND in 2019, followed by Daisy in 2020. The group eventually disbanded in 2023.

Last year, MOMOLAND returned to the music scene as a six-member group under a new label and management, Inyeon Entertainment. They marked their comeback with the release of the single “Rodeo.”
