Mika Salamanca to have book signing for ‘Lipad’

Mika Salamanca will meet her fans, young readers and sign copies of her children’s book "Lipad" at the 45th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), the Philippines’ largest and longest-running literary event, this September.

Mika’s meet-and-greet is scheduled for September 12, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at the National Book Store (NBS) booth in the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The actress and social media influencer will be the last guest featured on the NBS schedule for the day.

The session will be limited to the first 200 attendees with book signing cards. They can have their copies of “Lipad” signed and have photos with Mika on stage.

Mika launched “Lipad” at the MIBF last year.

MIBF 2026 will run from September 9 to 13, with a variety of activities lined up throughout the five-day event. Aside from Mika’s appearance, the fair will also feature book talks and signing sessions with bestselling Filipino authors, as well as hands-on activities with arts and crafts experts.

Also scheduled on September 12 is Korean novelist and screenwriter Kim Ho-yeon, author of “The Second Chance Convenience Store,” who will hold a talk and book signing at the NBS Booth from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, ahead of Mika’s appearance.
