Kai Montinola and Kyle Echarri are teaming up for their first film together. The pair, who will play college students, will be joined by “Pinoy Big Brother” alums Lella Ford and Joaquin Arce. This will also be Lella and Joaquin's acting debut.

The title of the film remains under wraps, although it is set to premiere on Netflix in 2027.

The new movie reunites Kai, 19, and Kyle, 23, after they previously showcased their chemistry in the action-drama series “Roja” and in an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”

They portrayed Hajie Alejandro and Lenie Aycardo in the "Maalaala" episode, the famous content creator couple known for their viral makeup transformation videos.

Lella, 20, and Joaquin, 19, meanwhile, are also bringing their off-screen chemistry to the big screen following their stint on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.” The upcoming film will be their first acting project together and their respective acting debuts.

Cornerstone Studios recently teased the four stars’ college romance through photos featuring the KaiKyle and LelQuin pairings, accompanied by the caption, “Sa dami ng ganap sa college, ano ang pinakagusto mong maranasan? Two pairings you’ll definitely want to watch out for.”

Incidentally, the four stars all got their breaks in reality TV. Kyle first gained recognition as a semifinalist on the second season of “The Voice Kids” in 2015, while Kai, Lella, and Joaquin entered showbiz after becoming housemates on “Pinoy Big Brother.”

Behind the upcoming college romance flick is director Rod Marmol, who previously directed “The Cheating Game” and “Cuddle Weather.” Marmol is also co-directing the ongoing musical-drama series “Born to Shine.”
