K-pop girl group UNIS, which includes Filipina members Elisia Parmisano and Gehlee Dangca and Filipino-Korean leader Jin Hyeonju, will end its group activities on September 26 after its exclusive contract with F&F Entertainment expires.
F&F Entertainment confirmed in a statement posted on X that its exclusive management contract with UNIS will officially end on September 26, 2026, after two years and six months with the group.
UNIS was formed through the girl group survival show “Universe Ticket” and debuted in March 2024. Its eight-member lineup also includes Korean members Yunha, Seowon, and Yoona, and Japanese members Nana and Kotoko.
The contract’s expiration follows discussions between F&F Entertainment and the members about the group’s contract period and future direction.
"After thorough discussions, we have ultimately decided to conclude UNIS's official activities as a complete group in accordance with the originally scheduled contract period," the statement read.
F&F Entertainment thanked the members for the stages and memories they created as UNIS and said it would continue to support them as they pursue their individual paths.
"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the members for creating countless stages and precious moments under the name UNIS with such passion and sincerity. Although their official activities together as UNIS will come to an end, we will sincerely support the members as they embark on new beginnings, continue pursuing their dreams in their respective paths, and grow even further."
The agency also thanked UNIS’ fans, known as EverAfter, for their unwavering support since the group’s debut.
"Above all, UNIS exists today thanks to all the EverAfters who have always stood by their side. We would like to once again express our heartfelt gratitude to every fan who has shared this unforgettable, miraculous journey with UNIS over the years. We also ask that you continue to give the members your unwavering love and warm support as they embark on new challenges in the future. Thank you." the statement ended.
UNIS has built a strong following among Filipino fans, particularly because of its multinational lineup and its three members with Filipino roots: Elisia, Gehlee, and Hyeonju.
F&F Entertainment is a South Korean agency backed by fashion and clothing company F&F. UNIS is the company’s first idol group.
Since debuting, UNIS has released three extended plays and one single album, with songs including “Curious,” “Swicy,” and “Superwoman.” The group also released what could be its final digital single, “Milky Way,” on September 23, just days before its contract ends.
UNIS has performed in the Philippines several times, most recently in April when the group headlined the 2026 Otaku Pop Fest at Okada Manila.
