Julia Barretto not in a hurry to find Mister Right

Julia Barretto opened up to Bianca Gonzalez on the talk show “The B Side" telling Bianca she no longer has a specific age in settling down.

Bianca recalled Julia’s previous vlog interview with BJ Pascual, where the actress revealed that her dream age to get married was 25. Now 29, Julia was asked if she still has a specific age in mind.

“I don't dream about the age anymore, the time that it should happen. I just want to be with the right person. I care more about ending up with the right person than achieving the timeline that I had when I was younger. And I'm grateful it didn't happen at 25. I wouldn't have been prepared for such a thing,” Julia shared.

“But I mean, it's okay. My sisters were married at 25, it happens. Dani was married at 25, Claudia last year was 25. Maybe I was manifesting it for them more than for myself,” Julia explained.

For Julia, finding the right person is more important than sticking to a timeline she envisioned when she was younger. She even joked that she would be happy to get married in her 40s or 50s, as long as she ends up with someone who makes her happy for life.

"I think it's just more important to be with the right person."

Julia was also asked what would make her walk away from love. “I guess when I'm starting to feel taken for granted. Yeah,” she answered.

Julia was in a relationship with actor Gerald Anderson from 2021 until their breakup in September 2025.
