Jessa Zaragoza reveals husband Dingdong Avanzado is facing health issues

Jessa Zaragoza opened up about the challenges her family has been going through, revealing that her husband, singer Dingdong Avanzado, has been facing health issues and has undergone surgery.

In a social media post on Monday, July 6, the actress and singer shared that Dingdong has been in and out of the hospital since Father's Day as he continues to face health challenges.

Jessa explained, “I’ve been MIA dahil sa mga todo pasang kaganapan sa life. Pasensya na sa mga na-postpone kong scheds.

“Between his surgery and being admitted again this past Friday, I’ve realized, di din biro mag alaga ng loved ones mo na may karamdaman. I have to be on my toes all the time pag may kailangan sya,” she added.

Jessa, 48, thanked their family and friends for visiting Dingdong, sending food, and offering prayers during the challenging time. She also expressed her gratitude to his doctors for helping determine the cause of his condition.

“Thank you Lord,” she concluded.

Following Jessa’s update, fellow singers and fans flooded the comments with prayers and messages of support, including Tootsie Guevara and Jaya.

“Get well and praying for your healing Dingdong. @jessazaragoza Mark is he okay?” Jaya commented. 

Jessa also shared, “We’re looking forward to celebrating Dingdong’s birthday out of the hospital. Yun na lang daw ang birthday wish niya.”

However, Dingdong remained hospitalized as he celebrated his 58th birthday today, July 7. Despite the circumstances, Jessa greeted her husband with a heartfelt birthday message. "Mi Amor @dingdongavanzado. Blessed Birthday pa din sayo. Pagaling at palakas ka ng mabilis please. Love you hon.”

Meanwhile, Jessa and Dingdong’s daughter, Jayda, also dedicated an Instagram post to her father. “happy birthday to my mirror in more ways than one! I love you dad, please get well soon,” she greeted.
