Ian Veneracion, Heaven Peralejo’s ‘Nanahimik ang Gabi’ to stream on YouTube this July

“Nanahimik ang Gabi” (A Silent Night) is bringing its gripping narrative of secrets and terror to a wider audience, set to stream on YouTube starting July 9.

The film’s producer announced on Monday, July 6,  the suspense-thriller will be available for viewers online, bringing back the story that earned major acting honors for its cast.

Starring Ian Veneracion, Heaven Peralejo, and Mon Confiado, "Nanahimik ang Gabi" is a horror-thriller film written and directed by Shugo Praico, the writer behind “Bagman.”

The film follows a young woman who enters a secret relationship with a corrupt police officer. Their private getaway takes a terrifying turn when a mysterious man suddenly breaks into their hidden mansion, transforming their illicit affair into a nightmare.

The suspense-thriller was one of the official entries of the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), where Ian Veneracion won Best Actor while Mon Confiado was named Best Supporting Actor. It also secured major recognitions, taking home Third Best Picture, Best Musical Score, and Best Production Design honors.

The film’s accolades continued in 2023, with Heaven Peralejo winning Best Actress at the 2023 FAP Awards for her performance, while Mon Confiado earned another recognition from the 2023 Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards.
