HORI7ON's Kyler celebrates birthday with fans, shares blessings and dreams

Before officially turning 24, HORI7ON's Kyler celebrated with the people who have supported him throughout his journey—his fans.

Last Saturday, July 4, Kyler spent his advance birthday celebration with fans at Q Cup Café in Quezon City. The intimate gathering featured games, food, birthday greetings, photo sessions, and time spent chatting with supporters.

Fans also sang Kyler a birthday song and surprised him with a customized cake prepared by his ‘Solid Kyler Global’ fans. Taking a moment to thank everyone who attended, Kyler expressed his appreciation for the love and support he received.

"I just want to say thank you guys all for coming to my 24th birthday and I really, really appreciate you all. Sana maging healthy kayo palagi and maging masaya kayo always and huwag pababayaan ang sarili. God bless. Thank you," he said.

The celebration was made even more special by the presence of fellow HORI7ON member Winston, who joined the event and personally greeted the birthday celebrant.

"Happy, happy birthday. Sobrang proud ako sa'yo and nakita ko talaga iyong growth mo as a person. Masaya ako kung ano ka ngayon kasi sobrang masayahin mo ngayon and nahahawa mo kami sa kasiyahan mo. Sana mag-stay ka na gano'n and keep mo iyong mga taong nasa paligid mo na nagbibigay sa'yo ng positive impact."

Aside from celebrating with fans, Kyler also sat down for an interview where he talked about the achievements he is most thankful for, his career aspirations, and what he hopes to accomplish with HORI7ON.

For Kyler, one of his proudest achievements so far is buying his own motorcycle, a dream he had long before joining the group.

"Kasi pangarap ko talaga sya before pa. Bago ako mag-Korea, iniisip ko na, para hindi na ako mag-commute kapag may pupuntahan. Kaya masaya ako kasi natupad ko iyong pangarap ko na makabili ng sarili kong motor."

When asked which HORI7ON song best captures the vibe of his birthday, he immediately chose "Lovey Dovey," saying it is his favorite because of its catchy and joyful feel.

Kyler also shared that while his focus remains on music, he is open to pursue acting in the future once everything has been discussed with management. 

If given the chance to join a project, he said he would love to work with actress Ashtine Olviga someday.

As for music collaborations, Kyler said HORI7ON hopes to work with fellow P-pop powerhouse SB19. "Syempre, iyong SB19. Kasi super angas nila. Super friendly nila sa personal," he assured.

Among female P-pop acts, he named YGIG and KAIA as groups he would also like HORI7ON to collaborate with in the future. "Hopefully, magkaroon kami ng pagkakataon para makapag-collab kami sa mga nabanggit ko,” he added.

Looking ahead, Kyler said his biggest wish is for HORI7ON to continue achieving success together, with a world tour high on his list of dreams.

Kyler also shared that HORI7ON is preparing for an upcoming anniversary celebration with ANCHORs on July 19.  "Nandoon kami para i-celebrate iyong anniversary na iyon kasama iyong mga ANCHORs. Magsasaya kami doon," he said. 

HORI7ON is a P-pop boy group formed through the reality show “Dream Maker" under the Korean agency MLD Entertainment.

Kyler, whose full name is Kenji Kyler Chua, marks his 24th birthday today, July 6.
