Actress and beauty queen Herlene "Hipon Girl" Budol kept the internet abuzz after she shared on social media the screenshots of an alleged indecent proposal from someone identifying himself as "Gov." The sender offered her ₱150,000 for a one-night stand.

Herlene rejected the proposal and did not hold back. She told the sender to keep his money and instead use it to help his constituents.

“Hello gov p*k** sa’yo na 150K mo! Itulong mo na lang yan sa nasasakupan mong lugar godbless haha!” she wrote before blocking him, as seen in the screenshot.

In the comments section, Herlene revealed that her original reply was simply, “Sa’yo na 150K mo!” She later edited the message, saying she added stronger words because of how she felt at the time.

She also emphasized her stand in the caption of her post, writing, “Women are not for sale! Let’s normalize respect, not objectification.”

The post went viral, with many social media users giving their support for Herlene and praising her for speaking out against what she described as inappropriate behavior.

Herlene did not provide additional details when her followers asked for the sender's identity.

In another comment, Herlene shared that this was not the first time she had received such offers. She replied to a user, “meron mas mga matataas na offer (name your price) pero never kong binenta sarili ko. Lahat ng meron ako dugo at pawis pakikisama, puyat at iyak ang puhunan ko hindi *ku*.”

There were also some who criticized Herlene, with someone saying, “but you are showing your body in public. You should also respect yourself to get respect back!”

Herlene defended herself saying that wearing a bikini does not mean she is selling herself. She said her body is not an invitation for disrespect, calling out those blaming women for what they wear. She added if someone sees something sexual in it, the issue is not a woman’s body but a “dirty mind.”
