Fifth Solomon starts filming Lance Carr, Aubrey Caraan starrer ‘Carry On’

Actor-turned-director Fifth Solomon is back in the director’s chair, bringing Lance Carr and Aubrey Caraan together for the upcoming romance series "Carry On."

The new miniseries marks another project for Fifth, who is also behind the ongoing “My Husband Is a Mafia Boss.” 

Production officially began on Wednesday, August 12, with Fifth sharing his excitement about the first day of shooting on social media.

“Day 1 of shooting for CARRY ON! And just like that, we’ve officially started! Excited to bring this new story to life with Lance Carr and Aubrey Caraan,” he wrote, alongside photos with his lead actors. Marco Gallo will also be joining the cast.

In another recent post, Fifth shared photos of himself with a production clapperboard, “Calling the shots and trusting the vision. Another day in the director’s chair. CARRY ON.”

Meanwhile, Studio Viva has also released first-look snippets from the series, teasing a story centered on romance, personal growth, and life journeys. The seven-episode series will stream on Viva One and is set to premiere on September 18.

The new series also adds to Fifth’s work behind the camera, which spans comedy, romance, and melodrama. The “PBB” alum made his directorial debut with “Nakalimutan Ko Nang Kalimutan Ka” and has since helmed projects such as “3 Words,” starring Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, as well as comedy titles including “The Exorsis,” “My Sassy Girl,” and “Single Bells.”

His ongoing series, “My Husband Is a Mafia Boss,” is currently on Episode 19 following its April 11 premiere on Viva One. Episode 20 is scheduled on August 22.
