The stage adaptation of “About Us But Not About Us” is returning for a limited run from October 2 to 25, 2026, at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati.

Returning to the stage are Romnick Sarmenta and Elijah Canlas, who reprise their roles from the original film, along with Epy Quizon and Andoy Ranay, who will continue to share the role of Marcus—a character who was only a spectral presence or was referenced in the original film.

While the story remains the same, the rerun will introduce a different dynamic as new performers join the cast and alternate with the original actors in key roles.

“And we're back for the rerun of About Us, but not About Us,” Sarmenta announced.

“We're so grateful to everyone who watched the first run of About Us again and again. And for those of you who missed it, you have your chance this coming October,” Canlas said.

Quizon added, “We are returning to the stage with the same story, but not the same experience.”

“Me and Epy will share the role of Marcus, and you will have an entirely different experience and perspective as we welcome additional cast members who will be the second Lancelot and second Eric,” Ranay shared.

Kobie Brown will serve as the production's second Lancelot, alternating with Canlas.

Brown, 22, recently appeared alongside screen legend Hilda Koronel in the 2025 historical thriller-drama “Sisa.” He is also a former housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother: Connect,” where he joined the reality show in 2020 and finished as the 3rd Big Placer.

Since his PBB stint, Brown has appeared in various television series and films. He also ventured into theater in 2024 through “Tabing Ilog: The Musical,” a stage adaptation of the classic hit teen TV series.

“Hi, I'm Kobe Brown. I can't wait to share this story with all of you,” Brown said.

Meanwhile, Tuxqs Rutaquio will take on the role of the second Eric, alternating with Sarmenta. Jun Robles Lana wrote the stage adaptation, while Rutaquio himself serves as its director.

The stage production is based on Lana's award-winning psychological drama of the same title, which premiered as a film in late 2022. It later became a major winner at the inaugural Summer Metro Manila Film Festival in April 2023.

The story centers on a seemingly casual meal conversation between Eric, a literature professor, and his student, Lancelot, following the death of Eric's partner, Marcus. As their conversation unfolds, it gradually reveals dark secrets and a sinister connection to the recent suicide of the professor's longtime partner.

Lana's “Sisa” will also have a special screening on August 27 in celebration of History Month. The screening will be held at select cinemas inside Gateway Cineplex in Quezon City. The historical drama stars veteran actress Hilda Koronel, alongside Eugene Domingo, Jennica Garcia, Tanya Gomez, Romnick Sarmenta, and many others.
