Sunoo of South Korean boy band ENHYPEN celebrated his 23rd birthday on June 24 by making a meaningful contribution to pediatric and adolescent patients.

According to AllKpop, the singer donated 50 million KRW (around ₱2 million) to Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam, South Korea, to support pediatric and young patients undergoing treatment. The latest contribution adds to Sunoo’s ongoing charitable efforts.

Soompi reported that the K-pop member discreetly donated 100 million won (approximately ₱4 million) to the same hospital in December 2024 to help patients facing financial difficulties access medical treatment. Last year, he also made another 50 million won donation, which was allocated to psychological and emotional support programs for pediatric and adolescent patients.

With his latest birthday donation, Sunoo’s total contributions to Samsung Medical Center over the past year have reached 200 million won (around ₱8 million).

Sunoo, whose real name is Kim Seon-woo, expressed his hope that pediatric and adolescent patients will have a “brighter future” and said he intends to continue paying forward the love and support he has received.

ENHYPEN also remains active in philanthropy as a group. Earlier this month, the group partnered with the World Health Organization for a global blood donation campaign in celebration of World Blood Donor Day 2026.

Together with their agency, Belift Lab, ENHYPEN has also supported several major charitable initiatives, including a ₱3.9 million relief donation for communities affected by flooding in the Philippines last year.

As for the group’s upcoming activities, ENHYPEN is gearing up for its August 21 comeback with the release of its eighth mini-album, “THE SIN: BLISS.”  The album continues the group’s "THE SIN" series as its second installment, inspired by the motif of sin. It will also be the group's first comeback as a six-member act following Heeseung's departure.
