Dani Barretto welcomes uncle Zoren Legaspi and family into her home

Content creator and entrepreneur Dani Barretto-Panlilio recently welcomed her uncle Zoren Legaspi and his family into her home for dinner and a get-together. Zoren is the brother of Kier, Dani's biological father.

In a recent Instagram post on Monday, August 3, Dani shared photos and her reflections.

“Filed under: one of my favorite moments in this house. If you had told me years ago that one day I’d be welcoming my Legaspi family into my own home, I would’ve never realized just how healing this moment would feel,” she wrote.

The 32-year-old shared that being able to thank the people who supported her during one of the most difficult periods of her life was once only a personal prayer.

Dani ended her message by expressing her love and appreciation for the Legaspi family. “Thank you for loving and always being there for Me and Sam through every season of our lives. I love you all so much! Thank you Lord!” 

The gathering was attended by Zoren, his wife and actress Carmina Villaroel, and their children Cassy and Mavy. Also present were Zoren’s brother Brando Legaspi and his family, as well as their mother, Hershey Legaspi.

The family spent quality time together over meals and conversations, celebrated Dani's sister Samantha, and bonded with Xavi Panlilio and Dani's children, Millie and Riley.

“You and Sam are etched in our hearts. There’s so much to be thankful for. I’m just so proud of what you’ve become—a wonderful mother, a successful businesswoman, and an inspiration through your podcast,” Zoren commented on her post.

He also thanked Dani for looking after Samantha and providing her with a safe and nurturing environment.

Carmina also shared her appreciation for Dani’s warm welcome, saying, “Thank you for having us last night. We had fun. So much food. Hehehe. We already miss the kids!” 

Dani responded, “Please visit again soon. I love you Tita Mina!”

Carmina and Zoren’s children also sent love to their cousins after the reunion. The couple later shared a photo from the gathering, with Zoren captioning it, “If a picture paints a million words,” followed by heart emojis.

Dani’s mother, former actress Marjorie, also reacted to the reunion and expressed her gratitude for the love and support the Legaspi family has shown her daughter over the years.

The reunion touched many of Dani’s followers, with several supporters saying they became emotional after reading her message. Others expressed happiness seeing Dani share such a special bond with her father’s relatives.

Dani is the eldest daughter of Marjorie and actor Kier Legaspi. She and Samantha are Kier’s daughters.

In previous interviews and vlogs, Dani has been open about her complicated relationship with her biological father. She previously shared that they had not spoken for years, and had not seen each other in a long time. Despite this, Dani has continued to maintain a good relationship with Kier’s relatives.
