‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ stars Mario Maurer, Baifern Pimchanok reunite at Bangkok event

Thai stars Mario Maurer and Pimchanok “Baifern” Luevisadpaibul were among the celebrities spotted at Nadech Kugimiya and Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund’s third wedding celebration, where the former co-stars shared a special mini-reunion.

Mario and Baifern’s sweet interaction quickly brought back nostalgic memories of their iconic 2010 romantic comedy film “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” At the couple’s latest wedding celebration in Bangkok, Baifern wore a baby pink dress while Mario stood out in a green blazer as they happily posed for photos.

Mario, 37, and Baifern, 33,  played Shone and Nam in the hit rom-com, with Mario portraying the charming and popular high school student Shone who is secretly admired by Nam, an average student. 

The film became one of the most beloved Thai romantic comedies and helped cement their status as beloved screen partners, especially among Filipino audiences.

Baifern made appearance in Mario’s 2012 film “Suddenly It’s Magic” alongside Filipino actress Erich Gonzales before the two reunited on screen a decade later for the 2022 sci-fi romance film “AI Love You.”

The wedding celebration also brought together several other big names in Thai entertainment, including Bright Vachirawit, Sunny Suwanmethanont, Anne Thongprasom, Jeff Satur, Lisa of BLACKPINK, and real-life celebrity couple Mark Prin Suparat and Kimberley Anne Woltemas.

Yaya and Nadech’s latest celebration marked the couple’s third wedding ceremony, following their traditional Thai wedding in Khon Kaen in April and their second celebration in Oslo, Norway, in May.
