Chris Brown and Usher are joining forces for a tour, bringing together two of the biggest names in R&B on one stage.

The upcoming tour, aptly named “R&B: Raymond & Brown,” was announced on Friday, April 10 through a shared Instagram video by Brown and Usher. The title is a nod to Usher’s full name, Usher Raymond IV, and Chris’ last name.

The one-minute video shows the two artists riding motorcycles through a city while being chased by fans. They eventually arrive at a stadium, take an elevator up, and step onto a stage in front of a packed crowd. In the clip, Usher says, “It’s time,” and Chris Brown responds, “Hell yeah.”

The post quickly went viral, gaining over a million likes and more than 114,000 comments. Fellow artists including Jaydon, Tekno Miles, and Bow Wow also showed support online, with Bow Wow writing, “so proud of u bro!” which Brown acknowledged.

As of now, updates regarding tour dates or cities have not been announced.

The "R&B" tour is not Brown and Usher’s first collaboration. They recently worked together on the 2025 remix “It Depends (The Remix),” which also featured rapper Bryson Tiller. They have also collaborated on tracks like Brown’s “New Flame” (with Rick Ross) in 2014 and “Party” (with Gucci Mane) in 2017.

The two are often dubbed the “Kings of R&B” by their fans. Usher, 47, started his music career in the 1990s and has released nine studio albums, most recently "Coming Home" in 2024. The "My Boo" singer also performed at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show  and has continued releasing remixes and features, including the “Lullaby (Mega Remix)” last December.

Chris Brown, 36, began his career in 2004 and has released 11 studio albums. The "With You" singer dropped his latest single “Obvious,” a cut from his upcoming 12th album "Brown," set to release on May 8.

Both artists began their musical journeys at a young age, having earned numerous accolades along the way, including Grammy Awards in R&B.
