BINI nominated for Favorite Global Music Star at Kids’ Choice Awards

P-pop girl group BINI has been nominated for Favorite Global Music Star at the 2026 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (KCA), representing Asia in the category.

Composed of Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, Jhoanna, Gwen, Stacey, Aiah, and Colet, BINI will compete against some of the biggest names in global music, including Tyla for Africa, Tame Impala for Australia, Zara Larsson for Europe, Karol G for Latin America, Olivia Dean for the UK, and Taylor Swift for North America.

Meanwhile, global girl group KATSEYE, which includes Filipino member and group leader Sophia Laforteza, is also nominated for Favorite Female Breakthrough Artist/Group at this year’s awards.

The nomination makes BINI the first Filipino act and the first non-Korean act to represent Asia in the Favorite Global Music Star category.

Following the announcement, BINI shared their excitement with the caption, “BLUSHING SO HARD RN!!” — a playful nod to their song “Blush,” which they performed live for the first time at Coachella in April 2026. Their performance at the festival in Indio, California made them the first P-pop girl group to perform at Coachella.

Fans can vote for BINI through the official Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards voting page until November 13, 2026. Multiple votes are allowed, subject to the official voting rules. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 14, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET (November 15 at 8 a.m. Philippine time).

Meanwhile, BINI is set to headline "Asia Pop Girl Fest 2027" alongside Japanese girl group HANA and Thai girl group 4EVE. The festival is scheduled to hold shows in Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines.
