Could this be the start of Bimby Aquino’s full comeback to showbiz? Just a week after surprising TV host Ryzza Mae Dizon during her 21st birthday celebration on “Eat Bulaga!” the former child star returned to the noontime program, this time as a guest co-host.

Since Ryzza was away on vacation and absent in yesterday's episode, Bimby stepped in as her temporary replacement.

When host Maine Mendoza introduced Bimby, he was welcomed with cheers and warm hugs from the studio audience, known as the Dabarkads.

“Magandang tanghali po mga Dabarkads!” Bimby greeted the crowd.

One of the show's seasoned hosts and mainstays, Vic Sotto, then asked him, “Bimbi, ikaw ba ay ready nang maki-‘Sugod Bahay?'” referring to one of the program's main segments. The 19-year-old immediately replied that he was ready.

During the episode, Sotto continued asking whether Bimby was ready to take part in recurring "Eat Bulaga!" segments such as “Gimme 5” and “The Age Is Right.” Bimby responded enthusiastically each time.

Then Sotto asked, “At isa pang tanong, ready ka na ba kay Ryzza?”

The playful question immediately drew loud reactions from the audience, with many screaming, cheering, and swooning over the remark. Ryzza traveled to Hong Kong to celebrate her birthday. She is set to return to "Eat Bulaga!" today.

Bimby's appearance  sparked conversations among viewers, with many wondering if it could be the beginning of a more active TV career. Fans were delighted to see him on "Eat Bulaga!" with some even calling on the show to make him a regular host. Others expressed excitement over the possibility of seeing more of a Bimby-Ryzza tandem if his hosting stint is extended, as their on-screen reunion was warmly received by audiences.

Viewers also praised the former child star for being humble, kind, and naturally funny—qualities many believe make him a great fit for the program.

Bimby, whose real name is James Carlos “Bimby” Aquino Yap Jr., is the youngest son of Queen of All Media Kris Aquino with her former husband, PBA star James Yap. As a child actor, Bimby appeared in films such as “My Little Bossings,” “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” and "All You Need Is Pag-ibig.”

In recent years, he stepped away from show business to focus on his studies and look after his mother throughout her health challenges. Although he has kept a low profile in the entertainment industry, he has remained familiar to fans through Kris’ social media posts and vlogs.
