Alex Gonzaga left netizens hanging when she posted a cryptic message on social media. Fans are now left wondering— has Alex already given birth or not?

The actress and content creator shared several photos from her maternity shoot with husband, Lipa City Vice Mayor Mikee Morada on Wednesday, August 26. Though it was Alex’s message to their long-awaited baby that quickly became the focus of online speculation.

“I'll miss carrying you inside my tummy, my baby. It was like having our own little world. Thank you Jesus!” Alex wrote.

Her choice of words, particularly the phrases “I'll miss” and “It was,” immediately caught the attention of her followers. Some interpreted the caption as a hint that she had already given birth.

“‘It was’ daw, meaning, nanganak na,” one netizen commented.

Others, however, had a different interpretation. One follower pointed out that “I'll” is short for “I will,” suggesting that Alex may still be pregnant when she posted the update and was simply expressing how she would feel once her pregnancy was over.

The confusion also prompted some playful reactions. One netizen jokingly suggested that Alex use Filipino next time so her followers would not have to analyze the meaning of her words.

“Alex next time tagalugin mo na lang para hindi na sila mahirapan at para maintindihan namin agad,” the comment read. Another follower suggested that everyone simply wait for an official announcement instead of jumping to conclusions.

Amid the speculation, the couple also received plenty of congratulatory messages. Celebrity friends expressed their love and well wishes on Instagram, including Luis Manzano and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.

As of this writing, Alex, 38, and Mikee, 39, have yet to officially confirm that the baby has arrived. Their fans continue to flood the couple’s comment sections with excitement over the arrival of their firstborn.

Alex’s maternity post has already drawn significant attention, with more than 950,000 reactions and thousands of comments and shares on Facebook.

Her latest update was an Instagram Story showing her Milo Dinosaur drink, captioned “walang makakapigil.”

Alex and Mikee announced their pregnancy on May 21 through social media. The announcement came after years of trying to conceive and multiple miscarriages.
