MANILA – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) will conduct a public auction of 11 luxury vehicles in Manila on Oct. 30, aiming to generate some PHP226 million in revenues.
“The Bureau of Customs, through the Port of Manila (POM), invites interested bidders to participate in a public auction through sealed bidding featuring eleven (11) luxury vehicles, including a 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale and a 2021 McLaren Senna,” the BOC said in a social media post Monday.
The other vehicles that are up for auction are a Lexus ES (2019), a Toyota Alphard (2019), a Land Rover Range Rover (2021), a BMW X6 (2023), a Mercedes Benz AMG GT (2021), another Land Rover Range Rover (2023), a Bentley Continental (2022), a Rolls-Royce Cullinan (2021) and a Rolls-Royce (Phantom).
The two-day public viewing is set on Oct. 27-29 to be held at the BOC grounds.
The public auction will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. at the 2nd Floor Conference Room, Prefab Building, BOC-Port of Manila.
“Place your bids on your dream luxury vehicles while helping the government secure revenue through a transparent and fair public auction,” the BOC said.
According to BOC Deputy Chief of Staff Chris Noel Bendijo, they are looking to collect some PHP226 million for the sale of the high-end vehicles.
“Projected (revenue) is PHP226 million but no bidders have registered yet,” he said, when asked about the projected income from the auction.

Meanwhile, the government’s funds increased by PHP18.38 million following the successful public auction of 21 40-foot containers of woodfree paper by the BOC-Manila International Container Port.
District Collector Felipe Geoffrey De Vera IV said the auction was conducted as part of the Port’s ongoing efforts to ensure that shipments under the custody of the Bureau are put to productive use.
“Instead of remaining in storage, the goods were converted into additional funds that can be utilized for public programs and services,” he said.
The MICP has raised a total of PHP35,047,147 from its public auctions this year. -With a report from Ferdinand Patinio/Philippine News Agency
