Merz in Beijing: we want Chinese investment in Germany
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz urges Chinese companies to invest in Germany, highlighting their role in creating jobs and strengthening value chains during a business event in Beijing.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Wednesday that his government is encouraging Chinese companies to invest in Europe's largest economy, as he met with Chinese and German business leaders in Beijing.
Chinese companies invest in Germany, create jobs and strengthen value chains, Merz said at a Sino-German business event.
"I would like to encourage and urge you to continue doing so. We want Chinese investment in Germany," Merz added.
