The Senate impeachment court has summoned the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) chief and two provincial government officials as it continues examining allegations of unexplained wealth against Vice President Sara Duterte.

Senate impeachment court Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero announced during Monday's proceedings that AMLC Executive Director Ronel Buenaventura had been subpoenaed to testify on October 1 and 2.

The court also issued subpoenas to two officials from the local registries of deeds over properties allegedly owned by Duterte's husband, Manases Carpio.

Davao City Register of Deeds IV Kathy Florence Baldonado was directed to testify regarding a property allegedly belonging to Carpio in Matina.

City of Samal Deputy Register of Deeds III Marco Pineda was likewise summoned to provide information on a property in the Island Garden City of Samal registered under Carpio's name.

The subpoenas for Baldonado and Pineda cover September 30 to October 2.

The subpoenas were issued as the impeachment court hears Article 2 of the Articles of Impeachment, which accuses Duterte of accumulating unexplained wealth.

Duterte and Carpio reported a combined net worth of more than P98 million in 2025, according to their joint Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN). Their declared net worth increased by 11.46% from 2024.
