Latin American leaders gathered in Bogotá for the CELAC summit, where Brazil's Lula da Silva condemned foreign intervention in Cuba and Venezuela, and Colombia's Gustavo Petro issued an urgent call for a global ceasefire. Uruguay assumed the pro tempore presidency, pledging to prioritize dialogue and regional cooperation amid rising global conflicts.
