Inside the Startup Developing Military-Ready Humanoid Robots

A U.S. robotics startup is developing a humanoid robot designed for both factory work and potential defense applications. The robot, called Phantom, can carry heavy loads and perform logistics tasks using autonomous onboard computing. Its creators say future versions could assist in defense operations — but any use of force would still require human approval.
