King Charles will not move into Buckingham Palace after its £369 million renovation, ending the landmark's nearly 200-year role as the British monarch's primary residence. Instead, the King will continue living at nearby Clarence House, while Buckingham Palace remains the royal family's operational headquarters for state visits and official ceremonies. Royal officials also say the palace will welcome greater public access once the refurbishment is complete.
