12 teachers stranded by raging river rescued in Oriental Mindoro

Twelve teachers of Naswak Elementary School were safely evacuated from Sitio Naswak, Barangay Lisap, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro on August 20, 2026, after the sudden rise of the Bongabong River caused the collapse of a bamboo bridge serving as their main access route.
