SOCCER: Ronaldo's brace fires Al Nassr to Saudi league title with 4-1 win over Damac

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al Nassr secured the Saudi Pro League title with a commanding 4-1 win over Damac on the final day of the season. Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman also found the net for Jorge Jesus’s side.

The victory gave Al Nassr 86 points, finishing two points ahead of rivals Al Hilal, who defeated Al Fayha 1-0 but had to settle for second place. This triumph marks Al Nassr’s first league crown since 2019 and Ronaldo’s first Saudi league title since joining the club in late 2022.

Al Nassr opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Mane met a Joao Felix corner with a powerful header past the goalkeeper. They doubled their advantage in the 52nd minute as Coman dribbled past defenders and unleashed a fierce left-footed strike from outside the area into the bottom corner.

Damac briefly threatened a comeback when Morlaye Sylla converted a penalty in the 58th minute. But Ronaldo quickly restored Al Nassr’s two-goal lead five minutes later, curling a sublime free kick into the net for 3-1. He sealed the win in the 81st minute, reacting to a loose ball after the Damac defense failed to clear a cross and smashing a powerful shot into the top corner.

With this result, Al Nassr celebrates a memorable season capped by Ronaldo’s stellar performance.
